I. Excellent Young Scientists Fund Program
Application Requirements
· Abide by the laws and regulations of the People's Republic of China and observe academic integrity and ethics.
· Be born after January 1st , 1984 (inclusive) and hold a doctoral degree.
· By April 15th , 2024, have obtained a formal teaching or research position in an overseas university, research institution, or corporate R&D institution, with a continuous work experience of at least 36 months since the grant of a doctoral degree. For those who have particularly outstanding achievements, the work experience restrictions can be negotiated.
· Have acquired scientific research or technological achievements recognized by peers experts as a potential academic leader.
· Be currently based overseas or start full-time employment in China no earlier than January 1st, 2023. Upon receiving the funding notification, the applicants must have a minimum 3 years full-time employment in China. Simultaneously, the applicants must quit from current overseas positions.

Benefits

Generally, not older than 45 for Professor(Type A), and 40 for Associate Professor(Type B).
Broad academic vision, innovative thinking, recognized by academic peers. Type A candidates should have outstanding achievements and be among the top in their field, with potential to become academic leaders. Type B candidates should have shown promise in their field, ranking among the best of their peers, with strong academic potential.
Benefits
Be appointed as full Professor(Type A)/ Associate Professor(Type B), and doctoral supervisor, exclusive doctoral and master student recruitment quotas.
Research startup funds over RMB 500,000.
Salary: Base annual salary of RMB 800,000(Type A) / 600,000(Type B) + RMB 120,000 per year for social security and housing fund + research and social services income + contract task excess rewards+ other performance bonus.

III. Assistant Professor
Application Requirements

Generally not older than 32.
Demonstrated significant achievements in the relevant field, among the best of peers, with strong academic potential; research direction should align with "focusing on the forefront of world science and technology, the main battlefield of the economy, major national needs, and public health".
Benefits
Title of Assistant Professor / Assistant Research Fellow, eligible to apply for the title of Master's Supervisor.
Salary: Base annual salary of RMB 400,000 + approximately RMB 80,000 per year for social security and housing fund+ research and social services income + contract task excess rewards+ other performance bonus.

IV. About School of Management, Xi'an Jiaotong University
As a national key university under the direct administration of the Ministry of Education of China, Xi'an Jiaotong University (XJTU) is one of the oldest modern institutions of higher education in China. XJTU is one of the top universities in China. It was supported by the Central Government at the seventh and eighth five-year plans. Founded in 1928, and restored and reconstructed in December, 1984, the School of Management, Xi’an Jiaotong University is one of the earliest management schools in China. It is among the first batch of schools in China to offer the professional degree programs such as MBA and EMBA.
